The Budapesti Fair – a celebration held on the last weekend of June, is a gift of the Municipality of Budapest to the people of Budapest. The event was first held in 1991, to remember the withdrawal of Soviet troops. Over the years it grew into a wonderful, giant classical music concert, to be given this year too by the famous Budapest Festival Orchestra in Heroes Square. After last year’s highly successful Bernstein evening, they would like to enchant listeners with works by Czech romantic composers.
21.00 pm 4x4 JAZZ–SPACE

“Nowadays, being a jazz musician simply means: playing jazz. It is a kind of attitude to music… the openness that makes you capable of incorporating anything into your own music, and capable of imagining yourself into the musical world of others.” (Kornél Fekete-Kovács) |
